Korvi ("we", "us", "our") is a meal-planning and grocery-shopping app built for the Estonian market. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Account information: When you sign up, we store your email address, display name, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture URL from that provider.
Household data: Meal plans, shopping lists, recipe preferences, household size, allergen selections, and invite codes. This data is stored in our database so household members can share a meal plan.
Usage analytics: We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand how people use the app — which screens are visited, navigation flows, and feature usage. Events are linked to your user ID but do not include personal content like meal plan details.
Error reports: We use Sentry to capture app crashes and errors. Reports include the stack trace, device model, OS version, and your user ID so we can investigate and fix problems. They do not include personal content.
Feedback: If you use the in-app feedback button, we store your message along with your email and device info.
We do not collect location data, contacts, call logs, SMS, photos (beyond recipe images you choose to upload), health data, financial data, or advertising identifiers.
Our database is hosted on Supabase (AWS, EU region). Analytics data is processed by PostHog (EU-hosted). Error data is processed by Sentry (EU ingest endpoint). All data stays within the European Union.
Your account data is kept as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained longer for aggregate analysis.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@korvi.eu.
Korvi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
